The University of Massachusetts Amherst has a reputation that would be enviable in any location other than where it is: the state that is also home to Harvard University, The Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Tufts and Brandeis universities, Amherst, Williams, Smith, Mount Holyoke and Wellesley colleges. By a wide margin it is the best public university in the Northeast U.S., but it is located in the most competitive, education-rich landscape on Earth. As a result, it is often overlooked, despite having many programs and facilities superior to those of the private schools in the region. Our mission: to drive consideration, application and yield numbers.

The advancement of our individual and collective freedoms comes with the responsibility to defend them against forces that would limit them in any way.
